Sat 20 Nov - Cologne, Germany - Cafe Frank

Where are we? Last of four shows in Germany (first one at which I came up with the idea of documenting the different stools I have in each performance space we hit). We also played the new Magnapop club in Krefeld, Gleis 22 in MŸnster, Dusseldorf at a great little private club (Damenundherren) and then here at Cafe Frank. Strange tiled basement here. Nice bar stool! The nice manager went across the street to get it just for me, I feel like a star! We are billed on the menu under the noodle soups and cocktails...it's their first live musical event though they've been running some late night DJ dance club nights here. We were worried no one would show, first it was very quiet, but then a small crowd amassed and we turned out the lights and had loads of clicketty clackitty fun! After that the dance club started! All our shows here were well received, people got very enthusiastic. But I think some people in Germany didn't understand all Thomas's lyrics because of the language barrier. What they don't realise is that a lot of people don't understand what he's going on about anyway. I think more often he should just shut up and play.
